Cupcake Retreat

February 12th, 6-8 PM

Specifically targeted at our leadership institute graduates and our student liaisons, this event will be a fun and collaborative environment to advance our impact throughout Montgomery County.

Intercultural Celebration

March 26th

Working in collaboration with community groups, EmpowHER will be hosting our first ever Intercultural Celebration at a local high school! From food to fashion to incredible speaker perspectives, we will have it all at this event.

How to Be an Advocate (2/24/2025)

We heard from experts and student advocates to gain skills for youth advocacy, from lobbying to public speaking.

Ice Skating Fundraiser (12/15/2024)

We met at the Rockville Town Center for some fun ice skating to raise funds for future MoCo EmpowHER events!

Service Event (12/12/2024)

We partnered with the Rainbow Shelter to spread cheer to women in need!

Supply Drive (12/2024)

We partnered with the Rainbow Shelter to donate hygiene products, school supplies, and more in order to establish a safe environment for women in need.

StrongHER Through Self-Defense (11/19/24)

We were visited by speakers from the StrongHER Initiative who gave an amazing presentation on personal safety and self-defense. The event culminated in a hands-on training experience to practice real combat skills!

Women in Cinematic Arts (10/17/24)

We had the opportunity to connect with panelists who have gained experience in directing, screenwriting, animation, and more through art and film!
